all coming together

this week’s episode of the L Word means there are only two more before this amazing (albeit slow-starting) season is over for the year. so sad, and yet these ladies certainly are giving us a lot to talk about over the water cooler. a dinner party explosion, all day “storytelling” sessions, jenny getting crazier and crazier, kit drinking again, and helena losing almost everything in a high-stakes horse race help to make this episode one of the best.
Jenny, in her ever-increasing craziness, finally hires a director (despite her obvious dislike of the director hitting on Tina very blatantly), and it would appear the movie will begin production. her theories on lesbianism and life are definitely laughable, but the way Mia Kirshner plays this f-ed up woman on the edge is phenomenal.
there is even a reference to the first season in this episode, made by a new-comer to the dinner party. let’s see if anyone else caught it.
i’m also super excited by the preview of next week’s episode. obviously Bette has had it with Jenny, and i’m hoping for a throw-down. and it also looks like there might be potential for Tina and Bette to rekindle, with Bette and Jodi’s relationship hitting a major snag after the dinner party. what else is in store? any predictions??

You know. Jenny just weirds me the hell out. Seriously! I’m not a big fan of Mia Kirshner anyway, but I’ve disliked Jenny since the beginning. That whole season of flashbacks in the weird circus thing was just too much.
But oh! Tasha and Alice are awesome, and Shane’s Storytelling all day? Fantastic! *L*
