“Cankles” - Weeds recaps

With money finally coming in and things looking like they’re moving forward for Nancy, it was only a matter of time before it all exploded again. Now she’s got employment issues, PI issues, and frenemy issues. For the full review, keep reading!

Nancy’s still got her panties around her ankles and she and Sullivan are talking on the confrence table, while Celia’s still watching! She offers to give him enough time to find a new assistant and a few more rolls in the sack before leaving him. Celia manages to sneak out before they see her.

Tara and Hunter are kissing and sexin’ it up, but she’s got to head out really fast. Turns out she’s dating a guy named Kenneth as well, him engaging her cultural side while Silas is there for her sensual/sexual needs.

Nancy heads back to the clinic to give more money to Valerie. It’s not all of it still, but at least it’s more. Despite her pissed off-ness, she takes the money because she’s super broke. Then she heads to talk to a PI, wanting to find all the rest of the money Peter had to have stashed somewhere.

The Agrestic community heads to the Majestic community board to complain about their city council being disbanded rather than being absorbed like they were told would happen. All the Agrestic contracts and positions have been nullified, and the new council head tells Doug they’re still looking into his shady dealings with Aguatecture.

Silas tries to get Nancy to get rid of Tara, telling her she’s untrustworthy. Silas is breaking up with her (because of the Kenneth thing) and wants Tara gone. Nancy tells him that she’s staying, and as his boss, until Silas brings in what Tara’s bringing in, she stays.

Shane’s installing cameras all over the house and can pipe them into every computer in the house. As Sanjay rolls up to drop off more money to Nancy, there’s some dude taking tons of pics of the house and the exchange. How does no one notice??

Celia heads to Aguatecture to see what it’s all about, and finds Heylia sitting at the desk. Both are super confused. She tries to get lippy and bust her way into the back of the office, but Heylia won’t be had no matter what. Until Conrad walks out the door and runs into the three women talking. She’s starting to put it all together, unfortunately for them.

After looking over the video feeds from the day, Shane notices the PI taking pics first as a pool man and then as a construction worker. Not to be intimidated, she walks right out there and asks him who he is. He tells her who he is, and then tells her why he’s there. He wants her to give him money in exchange for keeping mum about the marijuana trafficking. He tells her he will only do business for $50k!!! She tries to barter him down, but to no avail.

Celia discovers the family is super poor, all their bills super delinquent. Dean tells Isabelle to head to Shane’s house so he can talk to Celia. When she quizzes Dean about Aguatecture, he refuses to tell her. She tapes him to his wheelchair and starts to torture him until he tells her everything.

The next morning Nancy shows up to meet the PI, and expresses her reservations at giving him the money. She then tells him she’s been recording the conversation, so that if he tells the police what she does for a living she’ll tell them he was blackmailing her. She then gives him the money he wanted and heads off to find Valerie. She tells her that the 50k he took from her was supposed to go to Valerie, and now she’s not really getting none of it.

When Nancy gets home, Conrad’s waiting for her to tell her Celia was at Aguatecture. He’s called her to find out what she knows, and she tells him to say she knows Nancy fucked Sullivan, knows she’s dealing again and she’ll be in touch!
