News Around The Web
Tuesday, January 8th, 2008Showtime programming has been all over the web these past few days, from talk of The L Word to Dexter’s moving to CBS in February. Here’s a smattering of what people had to say.
- Lyndsey over at Lez Keep It Real had a lot to say about the newest season of The L Word, and while I might be biased because I love her blog, I found her comments super interesting (if not always in line with my opinions).
- The Seattle Times interviewed Rose Rollins about her character Tasha, and the trial she must inevitably go through on the L Word. There’s a few spoilers in the article, though, so don’t click if you don’t want to know!
- Microsoft has announced it will be partnering with Showtime (among other networks) to bring content to it’s XBox Live platform. I’ve actually seen this start to happen (we’ve got an XBox at home), and it’s pretty neat. You can watch episodes of your favorite shows through your game console!
- I tend to filter out the boxing that happens on Showtime, but if you’re a fan, Bad Left Hook has a comparison of HBO’s boxing and Showtime’s, along with a list of some of the fights coming up.
That’s just a start list of all the traffic Showtime is creating for blogs (and newspapers) across the country (and world).
