Couple Meets L Word Cast!
Meeting your favorite cast member of your favorite show is every fan’s dream, and couple Denise Moss and Jane Champ got to do just that when they flew from Georgia to Vancouver to get married this past July.
The couple chose to marry legally (which you can do in Vancouver) after an episode of the L Word got them all riled up about equal rights, and set the date. While in Vancouver they extended invitations to the entire cast, who were filming at the time and unable to attend. However, the couple ran into Kate Moennig, Rose Rollins and Leisha Hailey out and about, and got the dream fan-meeting. The three women were apparently amazing, totally down to earth, everything you would hope a star would be.
Fan dream over? Not yet, as Hailey invited the couple to her big Halloween party in LA! The couple said hell yeah, and spent their Halloween partying with the girls once again, this time getting to meet the rest of the cast! They had these little tidbits to share for all the L Word fans out there:
- Kate Moennig is nothing like her character Shane, at least as far as the womanizing goes. And apparently she gets mobbed quite often by crazed lesbians!
- Mia Kirshner and Kate are the best of friends off screen, and Mia’s also one of the nicer women on the planet, apparently. So as much as we all hate Jenny, don’t let it carry over to Mia!
- Erin Daniels is still upset that her character (Dana) was killed off in season three!
- Leisha’s just as girlie in real life as her character Alice on the show, and plays a mean guitar AND keyboard!

I wish Vancouver was my home. I wonder what the deal is between Rose and Kate, they’re really close and almost flirtatious at times.
