It’s Official!
Not that anyone who reads this blog had any doubt, but it would seem Showtime is quickly surpassing HBO as the edgy network to watch. First the L Word premiere garnered a nod from the likes of Paris Hilton (although I’m still convinced she was just there because that girl lives to party, and there was a party available to her), then these two amazing moments.
First, it looks like more gossip sites have started to pick up what I reported on just after Christmas. The actors who play brother/sister duo Deb and Dexter Morgan are officially dating off-screen. The pair have amazing on-screen chemistry, so its not a huge shock to me that they’ve hooked up off-screen, but it’s funny to me that this is making news almost two weeks after I first reported it. Go me!
And then there’s the even bigger news regarding Dexter. CBS has officially announced that starting February 17 the first season of Dexter will begin airing, edited for network television, of course. Which actually shouldn’t be too hard, because just taking stuff out to allow for commercials should cut out all the boobies and gory serial killler moments without losing the point of the episodes.
Let the takeover begin! As my favorite network continues to make headlines, please continue to show your support here!
