“Lesbians Gone Wild” - L Word Recap
Because last week was so difficult, and I didn’t even get to watch this latest episode until Monday night, I’m giving you a list of my favorite moments rather than a detailed recap of the show. Sorry for any disappointment that might cause, but mama’s got life to get caught up on!
Niki’s turning out to be one royally bitchy actress. And she doesn’t seem to be able to understand the difference between acting and real life, which is going to cause a huge problem later!
Tasha’s lawyer being afraid of the prosecution definitely won’t turn out well. Even if the prosecution is Kelly McGillis!
Alice is on The (fake) View, aptly titled The Look. She seems to be in over her head, but Alice always ends up on top! They want her to out celebs on every show if she wants to get the job full time, and somehow I can’t imagine Alice being okay with that, but she seems to go with it. Suck! Of course her first outing? Niki Stevens. Nice Alice, very nice.
Bette has to babysit Phyllis’ daughter!! Ha ha ha! Someone’s not happy her mommy’s a lesbian!
Tina’s hitting it off with the DP (director of photography) a little more than Bette seems to be comfortable with! Hot action for sure!
Bette and Tina making fun of Bev and Nina’s bedroom on set is a great thing!!! Too bad they don’t get it on in Bev and Nina’s bedroom, too!
Alice is banned from set!! That’s so great! And she’s wearing Christian Loubiton shoes!
The look Bette gives Shane for hitting on Molly is hilarious!!! Mama B hasn’t lost all her mojo!

The ghetto styling of Kit Porter is amazing! From talking about Tina getting flirted with to how she’s going to get those She-Bitches, it’s hilarious.
I love how Adele accidentally drops the fliers for the oil wrestling right in front of Niki while everyone’s watching, and no one questions it. Really? She’s not THAT good. Only Jenny’s that good. But with how much she’s stealing Jenny’s identity (last week it was clothes and bangs, and this week it’s the gum smacking), I’d bet it’s not long before she’s just as good at crazy as Jenny is. She might just already be there!
Slutty slutty Bette and Jodi sex is almost as good as Bette and Tina sex. Almost. Mutual masturbation, however? That’s HOT HOT HOT.
Shane is the Fonz of lesbians!! I love it!
Dawn Denbo’s outfit for wrestling? Sux. Her lover Cindi’s outfit? It’s pretty hot. The wrestling itself? Hot in a male fantasy sort of way more than anything else really. Kit calling the cops on She Bar? Priceless!!!!!
Smack My Bitch Up?!!?!?! Late nineties pseudo rock in the L Word is the best part of the show!!!
Or was that Shane and Molly taking out Dawn Denbo and her lover Cindi?? I can’t decide.
I love that Shane and Molly are going to end up as friends. It’s such a great thing!!! Oh yeah, and Cindi tries to work her way out of jail by coming on to the cops … class. All class.
CREEPY!!! HOLY FUCK IT’S CREEPY!!! Adele is turning more and more into Jenny every minute. “Cut. Print.” Crazy.

That whole oil wrestling thing turned out to be not so much of a turn-on, or really anything, considering how much it was hyped. It kinda squicked me out in that it was SUCH a male fantasy type of thing. Plus, no one’s boobs popped out, so there was that downer.
I am loving Adele and her whole “Single White Female” persona. Where was Max this week to question her motives? I really hope they come up with something good to explain Adele, and not just run-of-the-mill copycat psycho stuff. While that’s always fun, it’s also been done - to death.
