“lesson number one”

this most recent episode of the L Word had me rolling around in laughter and reeling at how good it’s finally getting. I’m actually at the point of impatience for the next episode to air. And with the show being on it’s seventh episode already it’s about damn time. Holy shit moments for the week?
* Phyllis showing up on Alice’s porch with her “i love you’s” and her divorce pronouncement
* Max. OH MY GOD. Dude, he totally comes out to his boss in defense of the women in his office. Rock. Star.
* Alice calling Tasha out (and then backing off) for her involvment in the Iraq war. I love the heart, but it’s misplaced. No anger at the soldiers, people. Anger at the establishment that puts them there.
* Tina. Bette. Tina. Bette. Can’t we all just get along? And I’m sorry, but am I the only one who finds eighteen THOUSAND dollars for pre-school a bit much?!
* Thank goddess Jenny is finally owning up to her craziness over this bad review. And admitting that it’s due to Stacy’s unfair criticism of what was essentially a personal journey. Because really, can we tell someone that their experience is wrong?
So much happened this week … I’m glad Shane has found a new friend, although I know there’s a tiny part of each one of you that wanted THAT hot sex scene to happen.
Can’t wait for the repercussions of Max coming out, or of Angus’ breaking it off with the other nanny (slut!). Also excited for the Helena sex issue and the art school love-in-bloom to get a big wrench thrown at it!
