Notes On An Episode (Or, This Is Not The Recap!)
So, I didn’t recap the latest episode of the L Word last night while I watched it. Who knows why I didn’t, but I think after such a long couple weeks of sickness and drama (personal, not on the show) I wanted to just be able to sit and relax with some television. This means that the glorious extended recap will show up later tonight, as I’ll “have� to watch the episode again when I get home from work.
However, I wanted to pop in and say this. Holy sex scene of greatness Chakin! Someone was definitely listening when all the L Word fans complained that the show had lost much of it’s sexy edge as the glorious and gratuitous sex scenes had been weeded off the show. All season we’ve been treated to some great love affairs, but this week’s montage beat all else! Even Max got in on the action, and good for him for finally getting a good, hot piece of tail! The writers tend to ignore him, and I’ve been pulling for him all season to hook up! Which, by the way, made him the sleeper vote of the Fantasy Challenge, but I digress.
The only thing better than all that sex at the end (which also pretty much ensured that everyone would get good points this week), there’s crazy Adele to round things out. Even she got action! And I think she might have officially surpassed Jenny in the crazy department this week! The only person more delusional than Adele is Dawn Denbo, who still thinks her lover Cindi wants her over Shane (or anyone else for that matter)!
