“seeing red”
one of the more amazing episodes thus far, episode ten leaves dexter with his entire world falling apart around him. usually a model of stoicism, a bloody crime scene leaves him with disturbing flashbacks that could point to a traumatic event in his childhood. his inability to deal with these potential memories leaves him reeling, and it doesn’t help that there’s so much going on in his life in other ways. rita’s ex is trying to gain sole custody of their children, which is leaving her even less stable than normal; with an evening’s self-defense episode leaves rita looking less than innocent, she is scared he may actually lose her children. and with batista getting closer and closer to finding the ice truck killer, dexter is feeling pressure from all fronts.
and oh my god … deb’s boyfriend is a creepy freak! he’s totally the ice truck killer, and i can’t believe i didn’t realize it sooner! poor deb is going to be traumatized for life!

I love, love, LOVE Dexter! You haven’t seen ANYTHING yet. The best is yet to come - I got totally hooked when it premiered and watched breathless right up till the season finale. Can’t wait for it to start again!
