“The Dark Time” - Weeds Recaps

With season three winding down, every episode has more and more punch. In this episode alone, Nancy takes on a partner of sorts, the grow house is moved, and the three Amigos (Doug, Dean and Andy) each branch out in their recreational activities!

For the full rehab, keep reading.

Celia heads over to Nancy’s house to threaten her, call her names, and admit she watched Nancy and Sullivan have sex. Then she tells Nancy she wants in on the dealing, or she’ll tell the police about it. Nancy doesn’t take too kindly to Celia’s threats and brings one of her own … a knife to Celia’s throat. She’s hit her critical mass of extortion for her lifetime, and she threatens to kill Celia if she goes to the cops. Just then Shane walks in, ending the little conversation. Celia leaves in fear and anger.

Doug and Andy are meeting outside of Sullivan’s offices, Doug still pissed about how screwed over he got by Sullivan. Now he’s going to reclaim what’s his and “fuck his shit up” … Andy wants no part and so leaves him to bring the wrath.

Heylia’s talking to some inspector who’s going to be heading down the next day to inspect the warehouse. He tells her anything that she doesn’t want him to see, she should box up and get out of the warehouse. He’s only able to head down the next day because he’s heading back to his vacation home in Maui, to his girlfriend who roasts whole pigs in her backyard. Once he leaves, Heylia heads into the warehouse and reams Conrad a new one for not knowing this would happen before they rented the space.

Silas, thinking clearly for once in his life, calls Nancy. She’s making cookies with Shane, and even though he wants to come with she won’t let him. She clearly sucks in his mind, and she tells him someday she’ll make it up to him.

Andy heads to pick up Dean and Isabelle’s not very happy because she’s got all his therapy mapped out.

Conrad, Silas and a few friends are loading all the plants up into a truck. They’ve got eight hours to break the grow house down, move it all, and set it back up before the plants Nancy’s invested in are going to die. Not at all happy she’s being asked to help, she agrees to help them find a place in the next few hours, as well as find Conrad a few more people who can help him.

Where does Andy take Dean? To a “murder ball” game so he can pick up tail while selling weed. Basically, Andy’s using Dean to get laid. He shoves Dean into the game (NOT SMART) and then starts flirting. Meanwhile Celia’s on the phone with the hospital, telling them she has no money to pay Dean’s bills. Not that she really cares, so she hangs up as Nancy comes to the door with a proposition for her. Poor Celia, she’s got a bandaid on her neck from earlier in the day. Nancy asks if she can rent Celia’s empty house, but won’t tell her why. She offers to pay $4k a month, and when Celia keeps talking her up Nancy lets her in on “the action” … which causes Celia to not only raise the amount to $15k, she also says they have to use the Sullivan Corp house and she’ll move the family back to their original home because it’s in her name and she doesn’t want to get in trouble for a grow house. When Nancy says she needs it immediately, Celia agrees for all the cash Nancy can throw at her. Conrad starts moving the stuff in immediately.

Back at the Murder Ball court, Andy’s trying desperately to flirt with Denise while Dean’s getting his ass kicked all over the court. He’s on the floor getting physically run over by these guys, and just when Andy thinks he’s in, Denise leaves with her brother, but comes back for a little ball-grab and gives him her address so they can go out that night.

Back at the new grow house, Isabelle is moving all her stuff out while Heylia and company are moving in. It’s great how all the old characters are there to help: Marvin is there, and so is the trampy lady who screwed Sanjay and is now pregnant.

Doug gets woken up by Sullivan because he tore the cross off the church. Sullivan tells him the cross is actually an $80k piece of traceable art, so he can’t sell it.

Looks like Andy remembered Denise’s address, and when she heads to pick him up, it turns out she’s got a dog just like the one that ate his toes. Just then some other dude walks out of the back room and goes through is stuff and frisks him. Turns out they want to know where Andy gets his weed from, and it turns out he knows Nancy’s a seller and wants Andy to tell her they’ve got some weed available to buy if Nancy’s got need!

At the temporary grow house, Conrad and Nancy are talking about how things are shaping up. They can’t move back to the warehouse for at least two weeks, and it turns out Silas is pretty gifted at what he’s learning to do. Nancy asks if Conrad thinks she’s a bad person, and while he says she’s not she definitely thinks he is. And then the greatest moment ever .. THEY’RE KISSING!!! It’s about damn time these two got together …

And now they’re having sex. Nancy sure does like her some sex without much foreplay!!! At least this time no one walks in! I wonder if it will last, or if Conrad is just another one of Nancy’s conquests.
